The upset minded Dublin Coffman Shamrocks fell short to the St. Xavier Bombers 10-7 at Dayton's Welcome Stadium. A game in which two of the better offenses in the state turned into a defensive struggle, in which the Bombers lead at the half 10-0. Coffman was able to score on a one-yard run by Zack Stoudt late in the fourth quarter. Coffman was able to drive down to St. Xavier's 15-yard late in the fourth, only to come up short.
